Metro Dining Delivery is looking for a few great drivers with a great attitude!

Are you detail oriented, good with people, and looking for a part-time job for some extra cash?

If so, then Metro Dining Delivery may be just what you are looking for!
We are looking to add a couple drivers to work a few hours a night Thursday through Sunday.

This is a contracted, on-call, delivery driver position. Which is a perfect fit for students, spouses, or a second job for additional income.
The procedure for an on-call delivery waiter-driver is simple, your job is to pick up food from local restaurants and deliver it to customers, otherwise when not delivering you can go about your regular night.
It's a pretty laid-back and easy job and our delivery drivers earn an average around $15 per delivery, and most deliveries take less than an hour, (around 30 min).
We are really looking for people that take responsibility and pride in their work & appearance, that have phenomenal customer service experience, and understand how to please people.

We are looking for a few drivers to help out during our peak days at dinner time (5pm-9pm - Thursday through Sunday)

Requirements for this position include:

• Reasonably clean driving record.

• Food handlers permit required for all drivers.

• Availability Thursday - Sunday 5pm - 9pm

• A good understanding of the local area.

• Strong customer service experience.

• Good English speaking and writing skills. (Needed so that you can communicate clearly with customers, restaurant staff, other delivery drivers and dispatchers.)

• Own their own vehicle for delivery. w/ proof of insurance.

• Smart phone with unlimited data/calling (or enough data that you receive order info and utilize our credit card processing app.)

• Clean and well groomed appearance. (Because we represent many local restaurants in Lincoln, our drivers should reflect highly on these establishments.)

• Possess good math skills and have experience handling currency.

• Phenomenal organizational skills.
